About Sarajevo

The capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sarajevo is a Balkan city with an interesting mix of architecture, cuisine, and nature. There are two different transportation alternatives you can choose from to get to the city center from Sarajevo International Airport. The airport is located 9 km from the city center so transportation to and from the city is quite convenient. Taxi

Taxis are a convenient and quick transportation alternative to get to the city center from the airport. Taxis are readily available next to Terminal B at Sarajevo International Airport. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center from the airport by taxi. Taxis are a more expensive transportation alternative but since the distance between the airport and city center is relatively short, the total trip won’t cost too much.
