Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. The trolleybus operates between the airport and the railway station, making various stops along the way. During the week the trolleybus operates from 6:47 am to 7:07 pm.

Trolleybuses run every 16-17 minutes during rush hour and every 40 minutes during regular hours. The trolleybus from the airport to the train station takes about 36 minutes. Trolleybuses are equipped with electronic signs that display the vehicles full timetable and stops.
