Suvarnabhumi International Airport handles the largest amount of international passengers entering the city, handling over 53 million passengers in 2012. Bangkok is a city with a population of 8 million. Like other South Asian countries, transportation within the city can be chaotic. However, transportation to and from the airport is extremely advanced and comfortable.

The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. From the historic city center (Phara Nakhon) take the Nakhon Sawan or Lan Luang bridges and connect to the Sirat Expressway, which has a toll. From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. After reaching the airport you can park your vehicle in one of the three parking lots, which have a total car park capacity of 5 thousand vehicles.

Airport Information

Transportation to Goa City Center from Airport

Dabolim Airport

It is very easy to travel to Goa city center which is 4 km from Goa International Airport (Diabolim Airport)) by choosing either bus, train, shuttle, taxi or car rental companies. The maximum journey time it will take you is only 10 minutes. It is possible to travel to North Goa and South Goa in 30-35 minutes using the same type of vehicles.

Train

The train station called Dabolim Railway Station is located 1 km from Goa International Airport which provides access by express trains to the central points of Goa. Airport taxis which can easily be seen at the exit of the terminal provide quick access to the city center and other parts of the city. To travel from Goa Airport to the center of Panaji, South of Goa you need to pay 400-500 Indian Rupees to the taxi driver.
