Tibetan salt and wool are still traded in Dharchula Bazaar, which is at a 15-minute walking distance from the south of Purang, today. In the bazaar, which consists of 6 or 7 rows of shops, you can find clothes, jewelry, coffee and perfumes to gift to your beloved ones and for your home. It would be appropriate to plan your journey to Dharchula by avoiding the monsoon and winter season. For this reason, the best period to travel to Dharchula is the time between September and January.
