Tallahassee is the capital of the Florida state in the United States. Since it is the capital of the state, important public institutions are located here. There are three universities in the city with a population of approximately 156 thousand. It is a calm and peaceful city. The climate is generally mild. There is a mild but rainy climate as it is located in the south of the USA. Especially in August and September hurricanes might be observed.
