Since the city is rich in oil, fuel is cheap, making traveling by car a very attractive option. Getting to the city center from the airport is very easy. One of the city’s most important avenues, Heydar Aliyev Avenue will connect you to the Boyuk Shor Highway, which goes to the airport. From the highway take the Airport exit. The airport contains indoor and outdoor parking lots where you can park your personal car for a certain fee.

The international terminal has a large Duty Free shop as well as souvenir shops where you can buy items unique to Russian and Azeri culture. The airport features free wireless internet connection. 

Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport is located in the town of Çaycuma, in the Zonguldak province. The airport has an important role in the transportation network of Zonguldak. The airport began serving in the civil category in 2007, operating both domestic and international flights. In addition to intercity flights, the airport operates a number of flights to Germany. Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport is located 8 km from the city center.

There are a variety of transportation alternatives available to get to the city center from Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport, and vice versa. Another transportation alternative to get to the city center from Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport is by bus. Buses are a more affordable option compared to taxis. Buses are easily accessible once you land and provide convenient transportation to the city. Buses are both a fast and economical way to get to the city from the airport.
