Sinop, the northernmost settlement in Turkey, provides Aegean air with its geographical and coastal waters in the Black Sea. Airport Information

Sinop Airport, which is only open for domestic flights, welcomes about 65,000 passengers per year. Despite this fact, the airport is not very well developed. There is one café and one restaurant at the airport. Within the terminal are offices of airline companies and check-in counters.

The small airport of Ağrı, which serves the intercity air transportation, is located 9 kilometers away from the city center. There are various alternatives to reach Ahmed-i Hani Airport, which was opened to the civil air traffic in 1997, from the city center and the bus station.  Likewise, you can benefit from a number of services at Ahmed-i Hani Airport terminal, which offers various transportation alternatives to reach the city center from the airport.

You can reach the city center from Ahmed-i Hani Airport, which is situated close to the city center, by municipality buses and taxi, as well as you can get to the city center by driving your car through the highway.

Taking a taxi is the fastest option you can prefer to reach the city center from Ahmed-I Hani Airport. Depending on the traffic density, you can reach the city center in a short time by taking a taxi, which enables you to use your time in a more economical way compared to other alternatives. In this sense, the taxis, which provide a 24-hour service, can be a good choice for you.

Bus

You can reach the city center from Ahmed-i Hani Airport by taking a municipality bus. You can arrive at the city center in a short time after a comfortable journey by municipality bus, which is a more economical alternative compared to taking a taxi. The municipality bus services are arranged according to the flight times and you can catch your flight without having any problem.

Rent a car

You can comfortably reach the city center by renting a car from Ahmed-i Hani Airport which has the offices that provide car rental services in the terminal building. You can take advantage of this comfortable service provided by Aydınoğlu and Azizoğlu companies at the airport.
