Belo Horizonte is a large inland city in Brazil. The capital of state of Minas Gerais, it is a city rich with green spaces. Within the city there is a large park called The Mangabeiras. Around it there are also small mounds. This city of approximately 2.5 million inhabitants is famous for its bars. It hosts an important bar festival called 'Comida di Buteco' every year. 

 

The city has a worldwide known and city-specific drink called cachaça. In addition to the bars in the city there is a "museum district" where many museums, theater halls and botanical gardens may be visited. You can visit the Estadio Mineirao Stadium, where World Cup matches are played. It is a comfortable and pleasant city to visit. If you especially have a hearty appetite, you can taste a wide variety of tastes in food and drink. Its dishes and appetizers are famous.
