Transportation from the City Center to the Airport:

The distance between the Aleppo Airport and the city center is short. However, since the airport is currently closed for commercial flights, you can use the closest airports to Aleppo, which are Hatay Airport and Gaziantep Airport. From these airports, you can rent a car and within 2-3 hours you can reach Aleppo city center. At Gaziantep Airport, there are seven car rental companies, both local and international and at Hatay Airport there are three local car rental companies. 

Also, some companies provide shuttle services to Aleppo from both airports; but lately, these companies have temporarily suspended their services. 

General Information About Aleppo International Airport (ALP):

Aleppo Airport has a history of almost 100 years and over the years, has been expanded and restored many times. The airport consists of 4 floors and it is located 7 kilometers from the city center. Aleppo Airport provides VIP Lounges, exchange offices, ATMs, a clinic, several shops, restaurants, duty-free, and a mosque. This airport is temporarily closed to commercial flights since 2011 and there is no clear date for its reopening.

Male Airport is located in Hulhule Island, close to Male, the capital of Maldives. It is the largest and most important international airport in the country.  Male Airport is, at the same time, Maldives's only international airport, and it is able to attract tourists to the islands from all over the world.

Male Airport, which has only one highway, also has sections built on the sea. For this reason, Male Airport, covering a very large area, is providing a pleasant and comfortable time to its passengers with many services.

Speedboat

With the speedboats called Dhoni, you can go quickly to the capital Male. It is only 10 minutes to the capital city center, which is only 1 km away from the airport. Dhonis can also be used for other purposes including showing around to special guests and daily explorations.

Sea Plane

Male Airport, which has the largest sea plane aircraft in the world, has two companies, namely Trans Maldivian Airways and Maldivian Air Taxi, which provide this service. While traveling with the sea planes, one of the most comfortable options, you can also have the opportunity to see the magnificent scenery of the Maldives.

Airport Ferry

Another vehicle that will allow you to travel between Male Airport and Male capital is the ferry. You can reach the center of the capital, Male, after a 10 minute ride with the ferry that Male Airport is holding ready for its passengers. The ferries, those almost serve 24 hours, depart from the airport every 10 minutes.
