Train

Atlanta's widely used public transport network is called MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). Trains run every day of the week from 04:45 to 01:00 from Atlanta city center at 8-minute intervals and you will be able to reach the station nearest the airport in 19 minutes. MARTA trains have two rail lines that go to the airport. It is the red rail line and gold rail line that go to DeKalb - Peachtree Airport. The most advantageous line to use is the gold rail line which is marked as the Doraville route and when you arrive at Chamblee MARTHA Station the airport is easily visible. From the station, follow the Chamblee Tucker road signs and walk for 10-15 minutes and then you will arrive at DeKalb - Peachtree Airport.

If you do not want to walk when you get off the train, or if you can not walk because of your luggage, you can also take bus 19 from New Peachtree Road.

DeKalb - Peachtree Airport is located on 700 acres of land in the city of Chamblee, northeast of the state of Atlanta, in the United States. There are a number of ways you can get to the city center from the airport, including options like taxis, public transportation, and rental cars. Some hotels provide airport shuttle services as well.

Rapid Transit

The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) high-speed trains or Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) trains are a great way to get to the city center from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. These trains stop at various stops in the city. The TRE line station is located in close proximity to the airport. If you are going to take the TRE line you have to first take the shuttles, which depart from the bottom floor of each terminal every 15 minutes, to the Remote South Parking area. From there you have to get on the buses that go to the CentrePort Train station. Train ticket prices can vary; you can purchase a single day use ticket for around 5 USD or a single use ticket for around 2.25 USD. The train to downtown Dallas takes about 20 minutes.

Those who want to take the DART have to go to the train station located at the lower level of Terminal A. If you land at a different terminal you can use the Skylink to get to Terminal A. DART fares are the same as TRE fares. However the TRE doesn’t run on Sundays while the DART operates every day of the week.
