Transportation to Airport from Baku City Center

Heydar Aliyev Intl. Airport

Located along the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan’s capital Baku is a rising star in the East gaining notoriety for its oil, gas, and caviar. Located in the village of Petrovec, about 20 km from central Skopje, Skopje Airport has been serving domestic and international air travel since 2011. Skopje Airport is set to become the main transit and cargo hub in the Balkans. There are many transportation methods available to get to the city center from the airport.

You can access the city center from Skopje Airport using the highway by taxi, bus, or rental car. Urban transportation within the city is advanced and well-organized, making Skopje easy to navigate.
