The country has two official languages, Spanish and Quechua, while a local language known as Aymara is also commonly spoken among the population. Approximately one-third of the country's population resides in the capital, Lima.
Lima, the largest city in Peru and the country's capital is also known as the "City of Kings" due to its rich cultural and historical heritage. Lima captivates visitors with its extensive beaches and breathtaking natural beauty.

Peruvian cuisine reflects influences from Spanish, Arab, Chinese, and African cultures. Due to its history as a former colony, the country has a diverse culinary culture. Some of Peru's most famous dishes include ceviche, made from fresh raw fish, anticucho, a skewered beef kebab, arroz con pollo, a chicken and rice dish, carapulcra, a dried potato and meat stew, and pachamanca, a type of meat and vegetable dish prepared in an earthenware pot.
