Bus

Another alternative you can prefer to get to the airport from Tabriz city center is the buses. You can find a bus, which is an affordable and practical means of transportation, anywhere in the city to arrive at the airport easily. We recommend you to board the bus at least 2 hours before your flight departure time.

Rent a car

Renting a car is an enjoyable option you can prefer for transportation to Tabriz Airport. You can either drive the car you have rented or prefer to enjoy the comfort of the back seat by renting a car with a driver. All you need to do is to rent a car of any model from the car rental companies in the city center if you want to take advantage of this option.

Airport Information

Domestic Flights and International Flights terminals serve at Tabriz Airport, which is especially preferred by those who go on pilgrimage (the Hajj). Inside the airport are health care center, lost property office, baby care room, and information desk as well as many other places where you can do shopping or meet your eating and drinking needs.

You can purchase souvenirs as well as various cosmetics and toys from the Duty-Free store inside the terminal building. The restaurant and café where delicious food is served are the eating and drinking places that are available for your convenience.

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Although they are not headed to Adana, there are shuttle services and HAVAŞ buses at the airport. However, these buses only go to Mersin and Hatay.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
