Transportation to Airport from Tbilisi City Center

Tbilisi International Airport

Tiflis Airport, in the capital city of Georgia, offers both international and domestic flights and can be found 17 kilometres from Tiflis city centre. It has a parking lot, and many places for resting and shopping that await you. There are some alternatives when it comes to reaching the airport.

Taxi

You can reach Tiflis Airport from anywhere in the city centre with a taxi. Bus

The city is divided into 4 different zones in terms of the routes of public transportation and the fare is determined differently according to these zones. Zone 1 includes the city center of Split. Zone 2 is composed of Solin, Stobrec, Podstrana and Klis, while Zone 3 is composed of Kastela, Dugopolje. Finally Zone 4 is composed of Trogir and Omis. Access is very easy because all these settlements are connected and close to each other. The fact that the only option to get around the city is by bus is urging many for cycling. Because the city is both small and coastal routes offer many possibilities to cyclists.

There are basically 3 different companies that you can rent bikes from. The first one is Rent a bike Split (+38521388951) in Zajceva. The second is the company you can rent from Riva in Split, which can be reached at www.red-adventures.com and +385917903747. Rent your bike from Riva and continue about 7 kilometers from Marjan. The last is the New Trek bikes (+385913909416) in Split Majstora Jurja. Split train station is located in the city center. Most of the trains run between Split and Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. There are also train services between Split and Perkovic 5 times a day. Split Airport is 25 kilometers from the city center. Transportation to Split from the airport is possible by bus, taxi and car rental services. There are many bus lines from the airport to many different points of the city. Apart from that, taxi fares can be very convenient as long as they are negotiated. Car rental services may be preferred depending on your preference, such as whether you are planning a long vacation or not.

Bus

In Split, it is quite convenient to reach city center from Split Airport in a short time thanks to buses that make up almost all of the public transportation vehicles. There are quite a number of buses with different routes to and from Split Airport.

There is a bus stop in a district close to Split Airport. Bus 37 leaves Split Airport every 30 minutes on the Trogir route. This number 37 bus leaves from Sukoisanka, stops at Split Airport and continues to Trogir, which is 7 kilometers away. If you take bus number 37 and transfer to bus number 9-10, you can go to other parts of the city.

Bus number 1 goes to Salona from Split Airport. Bus number 18 travels from airport to Split city center.

Bus number 38 also has the Split Airport-Kastel Stari-Split route. Bus 60, like bus 37, departs from Sukoisan bus station, moves towards Omis, and at the same time there is a stop at Split Airport.

Sukoisan bus station is only 1 kilometers away from Split city center. It is a very economical and fast option to reach the city center of Split from the airport by shuttle buses provided by the airport. The Crotia Airline shuttle, which is the first of these options, goes directly to the city center. The second option, the private airport shuttle, takes you to the Green Market in a short time at a 30 Kuna ticket price.

Taxi

Taxi from Split Airport to the city center can be expensive sometimes. Especially if you came up with a freelance taxi driver who is not affiliated with a certain company, you may have to pay more than the price that is actually on. Transportation from the airport to Split city center costs approximately 150-250 Croatian Kuna. Evening tariffs can be much different and more expensive. Most taxi drivers require 270 Kuna for this 25-30 minute journey, but with a good bargain it is possible to reduce this price to 220 Kuna.

Car Rental

It is possible to have your own vehicle during your holiday by choosing from one of the car rental companies located in Split Airport. Renting your car directly from the airport or by pre-booking from via internet is very practical. By taking your car from the airport, it is possible to reach the city center of Split in 25-30 minutes. Except for heavy traffic hours, traffic in Split flows normally.
