When you reach Araxa Airport, which is located 4 kilometers far from the city center of Araxa, you can take a taxi or an express bus in order to reach the city center.

Araxa Airport is located only 4 km away from and provides convenient transportation to the city center of Araxa . You can reach the city center in less than 10 minutes by taking a taxi from the airport exit. If you have rented a car for your travel, you can easily get to the Araxa city center by going straight on the BR-452 motorway in the southeast direction. It is possible to make use of the airport shuttle service provided by some of the cities in the city by making a reservation in advance.

Araxa Airport can be reached from the city center in a short period of 8-9 minutes. Although public transportation also reaches the airport, the fastest way to arrive is via taxi. There are also some hotels in Araxa that offer an airport shuttle service. If you rent a car while you are in town, take the BR-452 highway  northwest and follow the exit signs until you reach the airport, which is only 7 km away from the downtown area.

Araxa Airport is a quite small airport, which is extremely close to the city center. It does not offer much shopping or food opportunities for passengers, but you can at least go through security quickly, as the airport is well organized. You can find a small buffet inside, in addition to ATMs, lockers, and a first-aid room.
