Birgu, which is also known as Vittoriosa, is one of the oldest settlements of Malta. The 9th-century Fort St. Angelo, which is located at the far end of the Birgu peninsula, is probably the oldest wall that you can encounter on the islands of Malta. St. Anne Chapel, which is located on the upper part of the castle having a strategic location in the Mediterranean Region, was built in 1430. The Chapel was renovated a short time ago.
