Being located on the northwest of Belgium, Blankenberge is a favourite holiday destination for especially Belgium and its neighbouring countries. As a coastal city, Blankenberge has wide beaches. Zeedijk Street along the coastline is ideal for both taking a walk and enjoying a meal in company with a nice view. You can go to Kerkstraat and  Bakkerssraat Streets for shopping. Besides, surfing is quite popular in Blankenberge. You can find each type of equipment, get trained and join the surf camps here. One of the best times to visit this city is during Flower Parade (Bloemencorso), a festival organized in every last Sunday of August.

The tourists are highly recommended to buy the famous Belgian chocolate and try local beers in this city.
