Hatsukaichi is a city located in Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan.

It is thought that the kendama, a traditional Japanese toy, was born in Hatsukaichi. For this reason, it is one of the most beautiful gifts to buy in the city. Momiji manju, which is a buckwheat and rice cake shaped like a Japanese maple leaf, is a local specialty that can be tried and bought as a gift. You should also try fish varieties and seashells in Hatsukaichi which is very assertive about taste as well as having a very rich menu about seafood.
