About Karpacz

Karpacz is a town located in Jelenia Gora County in the southwest of Poland. Karpacz which is famous for being a spa and ski center has a population of about 6,000. The town, which is the most popular and entertaining ski center of Poland, is located 15 kilometers south of Jelenia Gora. The town is located at 480 to 880 meters above sea level. In addition to ski, the town offers many outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and ski jumping. In Karpacz, there are many accommodation centers including hotels, holiday house, private rooms and camping areas. Karpacz, which is a small town, doesn’t have any center.

The town consists of two regions extending along a roundabout way which is 10 kilometers long. In Karpacz Dolny region, there are many hotels, pensions and restaurants while there are only holiday houses in Karpacz Gorny. Karkonosze National Park, which is a suitable starting point for climbing and trekking activities, is located in the south of Karpacz. In addition to sports activities, you can visit Toy Town Museum for a different experience. There are private bus shuttles from Jelenia Gora to the town. In addition, Karpacz can be reached from the centers of various big cities such as łogów, Legnica, Łódź, Wałbrzych, Warsaw.
