Middelkerke is a coastal town along the coastline which has the longest coastline in Belgium's West Flanders province. It is preferred not only by families for classic sea holidays, but also by tourists to relax, to ride in the nature or to take walks.

The Kusttram, which is a tramway that runs along the sea, runs every 10 minutes between the French and German borders. You can take pictures of the journey and discover the little pits during the journey from the Knokke to the De Panne.
