About Netanya

Netanya is a holiday destination on the Mediterranean coast of Israel. The meaning of Netanya, which was named in the honor of Nathan Straus, is “God’s Gift”. Netanya, which is surrounded by Sharon Plain, is also very close to Herzliya. The city is home to the most luxurious beaches of Israel. There are also many war monuments, elegant galleries and valuable museums in the city.

For having a pleasant day, you can prefer Poleg Beach having a deep blue sea in the southernmost point of Netanya. You can enjoy various activities like surfing and jet ski. After these activities, you can take a break in one of the gourmet restaurants around the beach. On Inter Active Atzmaut Square, which is lively at any hour of the day, you can enjoy the atmosphere especially with the fountain offering a visual feast at the evening hours. You can visit Alexander Stream Hof Bet Yanai National Park in order to get rid of the crowd of Netanya. Here, you can also see a structure remaining from the ancient period, turquoise river and wonderful flowers. You should also visit Planetanya where you can get information about the solar system and space. Here, you will have enjoyable moments especially with your children. You can see the Victory Monument in the city center, which was erected in the memory of the World War II. This monument has an important place in Israel's history. The Museum of Yemenite Jewish Heritage hosts a rich exhibition regarding the historical photos of Yemenite Jewish immigration and settlement in the Holy Land as well as various antiques. A section of the museum is also dedicated to Yemenite manuscripts that have been preserved for many years.
