A great spot to watch the sunset, Ancient Venetian Castello Fortress is one of the symbolic buildings of Petrovac. The basement floor of the fortress was also used for stocking up the guns, ammunition, wine and olive oil at those times.

You can go to the island of Katic and Sveti Nedelja nearby to pay a visit there and see the panoramic view of the Ancient Venetian Castello Fortress. There is a famous church in one of these island you can easily reach by boat. There is also a rumour that this church was built by a seaman that could survive a shipwreck. Therefore, it is believed that ringing the bell of this church brings good luck and happiness.
