The most interesting structure of Rawai, which is a popular destination for tropical holidays with its deep blue sea and white sandy beaches, is the Wat Chalong Temple built by the Buddhist priests in the 19th century. It is said that the temple, which is a three-floored tower, houses a fragment of bone from the Buddha.

The distance between the airport and Rawai is approximately 35 kilometers and you can reach the town by using a shuttle or taxi departing from the airport.
