Tekirova, which is a town in Kemer district and one of the most important tourism centers of Antalya, is home to many tourist attractions and historical buildings. Zeus Temple in the ancient city of Phaselis which was built in the region during the Roman period and unearthed in the excavations, King Antonius Caravella Road, ancient theater and castle walls are among the most important tourist attractions. While many hotels offer service on Tekirova coasts which have blue flags symbolizing cleanliness, ski resorts on Tahtalı Mountain which is the highest point of the Taurus Mountains welcome tourists in order to keep winter tourism alive. In Yanartaş, which is also a subject of the prehistoric Greek myths, the constantly burning fires caused by natural gas source attract both domestic and foreign visitors. Visitors coming to the region enjoy the nature by having picnic and barbecue.

Üç Adalar (meaning “three islands”) are three islands located on Tekirova coasts. These islands are among most special diving places on earth. Professional and amateur divers dive in the region where there are nine reefs and two underwater caves. The ecological park (Ekopark), built for protecting the endangered plants and animals, provides the protected plants and reptiles with the natural habitats they need for. The park which also accepts visitors continues to give hope to much more endangered animals and plants each passing day.

The people living in the town, which is accompanied by influx of tourists both in winter and summer months, make a living from tourism significantly. Hot and dry weather becoming effective with the spring season continues to dominate the town until the fall season. The temperature is around 10-12 degrees even in the winter months and it is possible to go swimming in nine months of the year. The closest airport to the town is Antalya Airport which is one hour away.
