About Vlore

Vlore is the central city of the Vlore County in Albania. Vlore, which is the third most populous city of the Republic of Albania, is located in the south of the Adriatic Sea. The population of the city is around 80.000. Vlore, one of the oldest cities of the country, is the biggest port city of Albania after Durres. The Port of Vlore is one of the most active points of the city. Vlore offers many alternatives for its visitors thanks to its status as a port city having a rich history. The center of Vlore is the point where the heart of the entertainment world beats. The boulevard surrounded by palm trees is home to many bars, shops and restaurants. Other places to visit in the city include the Independence Monument, Zvernec Monastery, Kanine Castle, the Historic Museum, Llogara National Park and the Ethnographic Museum.

The city has a special importance for Albania in terms of historically.
