About Wisla

Located close to the border of Czech Republic, in the southern part of Poland, Wisla is named after Vistula (Wisla) River. This city is one of the most popular tourist destinations all year long and being close to Malinka, a world-class ski jumping hill is one of the main reasons for this popularity. Since Grand Prix and World Championships are held in Malinka, it is possible to see a world-champion in the air or on land in this ski jumping hill, namely Malinka.

The activities that could be done in Wisla are not limited to Malinka; some of the activities you can do with your family, especially with the kids are going to observation tower by Czantoria chairlift, getting ski classes, spending time in the nature by hiking etc. You can go trekking in Skolnity and have a nice dinner at the small restaurant on the top. Skolnity is also highly recommended to go skiing in winter.

You should definitely drop by Zabytkowy Park, a quite and beautiful place where various interesting sculptures are displayed on the riverside and also, you can rent a bike there. Wisla is an easy place to find alternatives that suit every pocket in terms of food and beverage, with a wide range of options such as Polish cuisine, European cuisine, and World cuisine.

If you are a fan of wintersports, of course, it can be ideal for you to visit Wisla during winter. Yet, if you prefer warmer periods; the mildest temperatures will be in May, June, September and October in this city.
