With its stunning natural beauty and its location in the southeastern part of Guilin in China, Yangshuo County attracts attention of thousands of domestic every year. Yangshuo County, located in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has a long history of more than 1400 years. It is no doubt that your visit to this place will be unforgettable thanks to its cultural richness and historical texture, its streets look like movie scenes, the fun events and festivals organized by the ethnic groups, the lively West Street, the rich cuisine with exotic flavors, antique settlements and more. Although there are no airports in the area, you can easily travel to Yangshuo County from many cities in China by high-speed trains or buses.

The Yulong River, which takes its place at the top of the list of places to visit in Yangshuo County, is also called the Little Li River. You can enjoy hiking, cycling and nature walks around the Yulong River that lies along the Gongnong Bridge about 15 km. Renting a car costs around 20-30 Chinese Yuan. You can also take part in occasional hiking tours on the Yulong River. Moon Hill is a moon shaped hill located about 8 km south of Yangshuo city center, and it is 50 meters high and 50 meters wide. After taking photos of Moon Hill, you can visit the Yueliang Village. Yangshuo Park, one of the most ideal places to witness regional culture, is very close to Yangshuo Bus Station and the most popular place of the area, which is West Street. You can also climb up and down the hills and watch dance performances and badminton games in the park.

The Xingping Ancient City, located about 25 km far from the Yang River and dating back to 1300 years ago, is located on the eastern bank of the Li River. Nine Horses Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal can be viewed from the Xingping Ancient City places. You can reach the Xingping Ancient City by taking the bus from Yangshuo Bus Station near West Street; the journey last 40-50 minutes. One-way ticket for buses is 10 Chinese Yuan. The ancient city of Fuli, which dates back to almost 1000 years ago, is located in the northern part of the Li River and about 8 km far from the city center. The city is surrounded by lush green areas on its three sides and its eye-catching river scenery is definitely worth a visit. You can easily reach Fuli Ancient City by taking a bus to Xingping at Yangshuo Bus Station and after visiting the city, you can go to West Street that is accepted as the center of the city. West Street that is a tremendous mix of old and new is located in the heart of Yangshuo County.  The West Street is 517 meters long and has a wide of 8 meter. You can encounter here some of the city's most famous eating, drinking and entertainment venues, accommodation facilities and cultural and artistic events. There is also a shopping store that you can find lots of interesting souvenirs in West Street, which is called as the largest British region in China.
