Luhansk is a city located in the west of Ukraine. With a population of about half a million, this city is located between mountains with a natural view isn’t really considered as a touristic place. With a continental climate, summer months in Luhansk are hot and winter months are cold. Luhansk Airport is an airport that holds a limited number of flights. You must also take into consideration that, sometimes flights may be canceled because of the ongoing conflicts in the country. The airport is south to the city center and is in an area 16 km away. There are buses that leave from the airport to the city however since their hours are spread apart, you may need to wait for the bus. You can also walk a little out of the airport and get on the minibuses known as matryoshkas.
