Apiay is a small town in the Meta District of Colombia, connected to the city of Villavicencio. Apiay is connected to further away places via Captain Luis F. Gomez Nino Airfield. Apiay has a humid and warm tropical climate. The temperature is measured around 28-30 degrees Celsius throughout a year. Very heavy rainfall and storms can be seen from April to the end of November. The best time to visit the city is January and February.
