Flyadeal, one of Saudi Arabia's few low-cost airlines that mainly offers domestic flights, is headquartered in Jeddah, with its primary hub at King Abdulaziz International Airport. Flyadeal was founded in 2016 and began regular flights in 2017. It is a subsidiary of Saudia Airlines, the country's national carrier and largest airline.
