There are many methods of transportation to get from Newark Liberty Airport to the city center, including the train, airport shuttle, rental car, or taxi. The AirTrain trains depart from the terminals and provide transportation between terminals, to the parking lot, to the hotel shuttle service departure locations, and the train station.
Train
The train is the fastest way to reach central Manhattan. To get to the airport train station you have to take the AirTrain, which is departs from each terminal. AirTrain trains run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Between 5 am and 12 am trains run every 3 minutes. From 12 am to 5 am trains run every 15 minutes. This train line is free within the airport, i.e. between terminals and the parking lot, but there is a fee to use it to get to the airport train station.
