Gazipaşa is a Turkish town close to the district of Alanya in the Mediterrean region, which has only recently come on the radar due to the recent construction of a regional airport. However, Gazipasa still enjoys virgin beaches in contrast to Alanya, which has grown exponentially in recent years and is practically filled to the brim within the borders of the city center.
In contrast, you can find beautiful and usually empty coves with sandy beaches in Gazipaşa. However, few have touristic facilities. There are also beaches where the Caretta Caretta sea turtles lay their eggs. Places to see include the Yalan Dünya Cave, historical castle, crystal clear coves, and oxygen-rich highlands.
It is an approximately 30-minute drive to Alanya. Since it is a relatively small town, you will have to resort to Alanya for accommodation and shopping needs. There are buses running between the Gazipaşa Airport and the center of Alanya.
