By a boat, you can take a tour around 9 River Canal, which is one of the most popular touristic destionations in Jiashan County. Especially the tours in company with the red lanterns illuminating the waterways at the evening can let you take perfect photos. One of the 4 famous painters during the period of the Yuan Dynasty and also known as the “Plum Blossom Taoist”, Wu Zhen was a master of poetry and calligraphy as well. Built in commemoration of this master, and including his thomb as well, Memorial Hall of Wu Zhen is a place that you can have a peaceful day. Also, Botton Museum is located in Xitang where the buttons are mainly produced in China. This museum displays the buttons made of clam shells, hand-made buttons, and also the making phase of a traditional Chinese garment called “Cheongsam”.
