About Philadelphia

The largest city in the state of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia is the 6th largest city and certainly one of the country's most historical ones. In fact, Philadelphia was once the capital of the young United States, which explains the many historical and cultural sites that can still be visited there today.

Today it is a city of immigrants, statues, and museums. The famous thinker Benjamin Franklin lived here, and you can see many areas dedicated to his memory. There are also the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Please Touch museum, the Franklin Science Museum and many other places of learning that give Philadelphia a distinctly educational character. You can enjoy the pleasant spring and fall weather in its many parks, including Clark Park, Fairmount Park, Sesame Place, and the Philadelphia Zoo.

Like many other cities in the U.S, Philadelphia is also a city of diversity thanks to the many immigrants who have chosen to make their homes here. You can find great examples of Asian and African cuisine as well as local specialities such as beef steak and pretzels.
